The newly elected Fifth Swiss delegate of Egypt to the Council of the Swiss Abroad 2017 - 2021 is Mrs. Karen Weick.
Election took place at The Swiss Club on May 31, 2017 right after the annual General Assembly meeting; other candidates were Ms. Simone Höch and Mr. Omar Shafik.
The outgoing Ambassador of Switzerland to Egypt Markus Leitner, the newly appointed Consul of the Embassy Liliane Varani Perrenoud, and the outgoing President of the Swiss Club Cairo Daniel Dufaux wish her all the best in her new important role.
Karen is just back from her first parliamentary session of the Swiss of Abroad, which took place in Basel city this August.
