Swiss-Egyptian motorcyclist and ex-banker Sherif Loutfi is set to embark on a unique trip travelling solo on his motorbike.
Sherif will attempt to cross the Americas from Ushuaia at the southern tip of Argentina, to Anchorage, Alaska North America! A 30,000 kilometer journey across about 14 countries; a trip that will last over 120 days!
His bike will be carrying the Egyptian and Swiss flags, sending an inspirational message on adventure, fitness and pursuing your passion. Not to mention a great promotional message from Egypt about tourism.
The Swiss Ambassador to Egypt, Mr. Markus Leitner, hosted a farewell reception at his residence Wednesday February 24, to bid Sherif farewell and good luck on his unique journey.
Sherif will leave to Zürich on Sunday February 28 to arrange shipment of his Honda motorcycle to Buenos Aires; and after final preparations Sherif will leave to Buenos Aires by mid March and then to Ushuaia to began his adventure April first as planed.
