The Swiss cemetery in Cairo

Inaugurated 1925, the Swiss Cemetery in Cairo is one the last remaining testimony of a proud and active community; the final resting place for over 200 Egyptian Swiss.

​

Efforts to restore and properly maintain it are ongoing after a period of unfortunate neglect.
